The process
The initial process will start by receiving a floor plan or conducting a site survey. We would then be able to assess the exact requirement to sufficiently complete your cabling requirements. We will be able confirm how cable runs will be made, where to make holes, fixing of cabling with the option of installing cable trays and trunking. We will also be able to determine the types of outlets, patch panels, data cabinets and networking equipment that will be required. If our detailed quotation is approved, we will then agree a date, order materials and prepare to carry out the works.
To install to the correct standards, cabling needs to be metallically fixed to prevent premature collapse in the event of a fire. To do so, we use multiple methods of containment such as cable trays, cable baskets, trunking and conduit. Our approach to using the above methods, ensures a neat and dressed finish to the job.
The desired number of outlets will be prepared and installed. Boxes are prepared, labelled and cable pulling begins. Once this stage is complete and cabling is contained our engineers will begin to terminate at both outlet end and comms end.
Using the latest toolless jack or the traditional punch method, our engineers will then carry out terminations on both outlet and cabinet ends. All cabling is tested using the very latest calibrated Fluke testing equipment. A handover pack is then compiled which includes test results.
