There are many types of cable containment, regardless of what type – the main purpose of containment is to house cabling. Internal cabling is housed using Cable Trays, Cable Baskets, Trunking, Conduit and Floor boxes. External cabling is typically housed using Cable Trays and Ducting.
Our team of engineers are experienced installers having installed containment systems for many years. Our most popular installs are internal cable trunking systems, these include mini trunking, maxi trunking and dado trunking. Dado trunking is extremely popular as it usually comes in 3 compartments, allowing 3 types of cabling to be installed.
Externally where cables are exposed or they can easily be damaged, we have also installed metal trunking made out of galvanised steel.
Underground we have carried out many sub-ducting installs to allow the run of Fibre cabling. These are installed with ropes allow us to pull the Fibre cabling through.
Whether it is a small or large project, we can install all types of containment dependent on your requirements. Here are our most popular installs:
Trunking is our most popular install whilst carrying out cabling works. We can install all types of trunking for your needs, whether that is internally or externally. Our common installs are Mini Trunking, Maxi Trunking, Dado Trunking (Compartment Trunking) and External Galvanised Steel Trunking.
We are able to install cable trays internally or externally, regardless of size or type. We have installed cable trays ranging from 50mm all the way up to 600mm. Depending on where they need to be installed, we can mount them vertically or horizontally using a number of different mounting methods.
Similar to Cable Trays, Cable Baskets are common within businesses to hold cabling. They are used to hold insulated electrical, data or fibre cables. They are many types of brackets that can be used to mount cable baskets, such as; wire supports and trapeze support brackets.
Conduit is becoming increasing popular with electricians and data cablers. It future proofs later cable pulls; with the help of draw rope we are able to pull through extra cabling whenever we need to. We often install conduit systems during our installs to allow us to add more cabling if need be.
We have carried out many floor box installations, both for cavity floors and screeded floors. Boxes are usually adjustable to allow for different types of carpet thicknesses. Floor boxes usually come with 3 compartments, typically for electrical sockets, data cables and telephone ports.
Ducting is usually installed externally, specifically on public highways. Our Civils team can install all types and sizes of ducting as per your requirements, we can then rod through any cabling you may need. Typically we install 100mm ducting with 4x sub ducting.

The first step would be to get in touch with us so we can then assess your requirements. Depending on what work needs to be carried we can then arrange a survey or meeting and provide you with a competitive quotation. After acceptance, we will carry out the following:
After a full onsite survey, we will be able to determine the most efficient route for your containment. We can access what type of containment would be best for your requirements and plan out the best possible route for installation. Whether it is internal or external containment, we are capable of professionally installing both.
After approval, our team will arrive and carry out your containment installation. This can be internal or external containment. We will have all containment arrive on site before our team arrive as well as ensuring any access equipment is ready for us to use such as Ladders, Towers, Scissor Lifts and Boom Lifts.
